Space Cowboys Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against Riverdogs



Space Cowboys took Tuesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 16-15 walk-off victory over Riverdogs at GBI Main Complex. Space Cowboys were down 15-13 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Sawyer T tripled, scoring three runs. Dustin M drove in four runners in the win. The right fielder went 2-3 on the day.

Space Cowboys got on the board in the first inning after Markel W singled, scoring one run. Riverdogs flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on seven hits to take a 5-1 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by CT that drove in two.

Riverdogs added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Bryson P tripled, scoring two runs, and A S singled, scoring one run. Dustin M hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth for the Space Cowboys.

Space Cowboys scored five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Sawver T doubled scoring one run, James C singled, scoring one run, Cason W singled, scoring one run, and Dustin M doubled, scoring two runs. Riverdogs captured the lead, 15-12, in the top of the sixth after B H singled, B P doubled, and N P doubled, each scoring one run.

Space Cowboys made the score 16-15 in the bottom of the sixth after Paxton G singled, scoring one run, and Sawyer T tripled, scoring three runs. Paulie F began the game for Space Cowboys. They gave up 27 hits and 15 runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out 10 and walking none. B P started the game for Riverdogs. They allowed 27 hits and 16 runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking none.

Space Cowboys amassed 27 hits in the game. Markel W, Paulie and Paxton G each collected four hits for Space Cowboys. Cylus C, Lucas 0, and James C each collected multiple hits for Space Cowboys. Space Cowboys didn't commit a single error in the field. Cylus C had the most chances in the field with 10.

Riverdogs accumulated 27 hits in the game. BP and L N were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected four hits for Riverdogs. CT and L N each drove in three runs for Riverdogs. BH, Bry P, NP, TL, AS, and C W each collected multiple hits for Riverdogs. Riverdogs didn't commit a single error in the field. B M had the most chances in the field with seven.

Runs Hard To Come By In Reds Win Versus Mets

Both teams were strong on the mound on Thursday, but Reds defeated Mets 3-2. Caleb H started the game for Reds and recorded nine outs. Mets were the first to get on the board in the first when Micah M singled, scoring one run. Reds made the score 3-1 in the top of the fifth after Caleb H doubled, scoring two runs, and Caleb H was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Caleb H stepped on the hill first for Reds. They surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out seven and walking none. Aiden R appeared in relief for Reds. Caleb H, the number nine hitter for Reds, led the way with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-1 on the day. Aiden R, Nathan H, Maxwell B, and Caleb H each collected one hit for Reds. Aiden R stole two bases. Reds ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. Reds didn't commit a single error in the field. Lupton R had the most chances in the field with 12.

Luke D led the team with one run batted in. Micah M went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Mets in hits. Cullen L stole four bases. Mets stole six bases in the game. Mets were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. BrantleyB had the most chances in the field with eight. Reds will travel to Braves for their next game on Tuesday.



Orioles Hold Onto Victory As Mariners Almost Erase 4-Run Deficit



Orioles got out to a 4-run lead in the second inning and held on for an &-7 victory over Mariners on Monday. Mariners closed the gap by scoring on a double, a double, a ground out, a steal of home, and a single.

Easton W collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Easton W tripled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning. A single by Brandon D put Mariners on the board in the top of the first. Orioles captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the first after Wilson L walked, Jackson S walked, and Lucas A singled, each scoring one run. A triple by Easton W, and a double by Wilson L helped Orioles extend their early lead in the second.

A steal of home by Elijah G extended the Orioles lead to 7-4 in the bottom of the third inning. Mariners tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a ground out by Ethan B, a steal of home by Brandon D, and a single by Brendan B.

Easton W started on the mound for Orioles. They allowed four hits and four runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking three. Jack Jack G opened the game for Mariners. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and six runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking four. Jackson S and Jaxon M eachappeared in relief for Orioles. Jackson S paced Orioles with two walks.

Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Wilson L, Easton W, Elijah G, and Lucas A each stole multiple bases for Orioles. Orioles stole 14 bases in the game. Orioles were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Elijah G had the most chances in the field with seven. Brendan B seized on their opportunities, leading Mariners with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. They went 2for-3 on the day. Brandon D went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Mariners in hits. Jordan H paced Mariners with three walks.

Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Jordan H, Brendan B, Declan W, Brandon D, and Leo P each stole multiple bases for Mariners. Mariners stole 16 bases in the game. Mariners turned one double play in the game. Mariners were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ethan B made the most plays with six.




Phillies Falls To Guardians


Phillies lost to Guardians 9-6 on Tuesday at North Garner Middle School. Phillies opened the scoring in the first after Caleb Shepherd was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Guardians flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring eight runs on five hits to take a 8-1 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Adley (A.J) Lombardi that drove in two.

Guardians added one run in the second. Saiyd Smith-Blackman singled on the seventh pitch of the at-bat, making the score 9-5. Saiyd Smith-Blackman earned the win for Guardians. They surrendered zero hits and five runs (four earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking five. Noah Mercer took the loss for Phillies.

The starting pitcher went three innings, allowing nine runs (twO earned) on eight hits, striking out none and walking one. Jackson Aldridge earned the save. Garrison Rose led Phillies with one hit in two at bats. Harrison Shapiro led Phillies with two walks.

Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. James Johnson stole tWo bases. Phillies turned one double play in the game.

Saiyd Smith-Blackman and william lvy each collected two hits for Guardians. Jackson Smith-Blackman, and William lvy each drove in one run for Guardians. Matthew Sloan and William Ivy each stole multiple bases for Guardians. Guardians stole eight bases in the game.
