Shetland Majors

The Shetland Major league has several goals; to expand on the child’s established skills, to introduce rules, to prepare the child for the next level of baseball, and to have fun. This league is designed for children who have fundamental experience and are ready to be challenged, while still encouraging fun and a love for the game.

Registration:

• Players must be 4 by 5/1/2025
• Players desiring to play in this division must evaluate, unless the player has played in Majors in a previous season.
  
• Coaches and the league director will form teams designed to provide equality across the division
• Players within the same household will be on the same team, if both qualify for this division

• Both boys and girls are welcome
  

Practice and Game Information:

• Games are twice a week, starting at either 6PM or 7PM

• Games are 4 innings or approximately 1 hour long
• Games are not scored
• Outs are enforced
• Every player fields every inning
• Shetland Majors does not participate in the end of season tournament
• Practice is once per week on Saturday, starting sometime between 9AM and 4PM
